Ted, pretty low tech, but we have 9 AS400s in our computer room and 3 consoles. All the 400s have a twinax console. The console port (port 0 address 0) of each machine has a twinax baleun attached to it and is then punched into a patch panel. Likewise each console has a baleun and is punched into a patch panel. To switch the console between the machines, we just move a patch cable to create the console to machine connection required. Works well for us. cjg Carl J.
