They do come right out and say that, don't they?  I did see that 
limitation published.  I was using QPWDVLDPGM to sync passwords between 
disparate systems.  Although now we've consolidated so many systems that 
only the developers sign on to more than one.  While they grumble, only 1 
has seemed to need a slap upside the head to stop disabling himself.

IBM no longer likes this system value, and for that matter it's not
included in Operations Navigator.

The reason that IBM doesn't like it is that user id's and passwords are
passed in the clear to this program.

Hi Everyone,

We have a customer that wants us to force a mixture of upper and lower
case
and special characters in user passwords. Has anyone ever heard of a way
of
doing this? Exit programs perhaps, or a utility anyone may have written?
