Y'all
After getting subnet issues worked out, we've had great success with Ops
Console, even with W2K. There is a Microsoft problem with W2K SP4 that
affects Ops Console and is not IBM's fault. I can send the fix to anyone
who needs it (thanks to Larry Bolhuis in the first place).
I agree that using this flaky platform has risks. The KISS principle
obtains here, and twin-ax console is as simple as it gets, compared to
Windows hassles. Our W2K Pro box does little except hold files and run our
printer. No stress. ;-)

I had the opposite, XP working fine, had problems with W2k - what a
product :-)

Hi,
>Not sure Ops Console is support on NT/W2k ??
our OpsConsole is running on W2K. NT is too old, and when we installed
it,
WinXP didn't work with
it yet.

Oliver
