Jim Not sure Ops Console is support on NT/W2k ?? Regards Andy -----Original Message----- From: Jim Damato [mailto:jdamato@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 17 November 2003 20:15 To: 'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion' Subject: RE: I hate OpsConsole! >In other words, they're behaving like Microsloth It's a little worse than that. With an NT/Win2K server, at least the server IS the console. There are opportunities for layers of administrative software or remote administration, but at a minimum you plug in a keyboard, mouse, and monitor to your server and you're up. You don't have to install a separate computer to administer your computer. -Jim-------------------------------------------------------- FormaServe Systems Ltd 91 Redland Drive Loughton Milton Keynes Bucks UK MK5 8FL T: +44 (0)1908 609500 W:www.FormaServe.Co.Uk www.iSeriesTraining.Co.Uk E: Info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------------- This message (and any associated files) is intended only for the use of midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx and may contain information that is confidential, subject to copyright or constitutes a trade secret.
