Do you know if the file transfer allows for transferring files from the IFS?
I could only see where it asks for a library name not a directory name?

Bosanova emulation has a file transfer built in. It is fairly simple to use,
especially if the file is externally described. It's been awhile since I did
it but it is straight forward and simple.

Subject: How to access the IFS without TCPIP

I have a customer that is running an Advanced 36 (model 436) and is not
using TCPIP, they are using BosaNova for their 5250 emulation (twinax card).

They have a CSV file in the IFS that they would like to either access from
their PC or copy to their PC.

I am not familiar with the BosaNova emulation or the Advanced 36

Does anyone have any suggestions how this could be accomplished

John
