Clean up of STMF object types

Does anyone have a strategy for cleaning up stream files? Or is not
necessary to ever clean them up and you just let them build up forever?
They are not a large concern DASD-wise (2.3GB) but one user has a couple
over 100 mb that QAEZDISK says haven't been used since March and it's
bugging me.

They are not "objects" so how would I find information on them to make a
decision to delete them if desired, and how would I delete them?
