Re: Long passwords in V5R2





I played with this when we tested V5R1 as an alpha test customer for V5R1.

It's *UGLY.  Certainly don't set the system values so that you can't go
back.  That would be awful.  Also be aware that there is a second sign on
screen, so if you have modified yours, you would have to modify the other
one.  Also, the source is no longer shipped in QGPL, it's shipped in QSYS,
so that your SAVSYS takes longer!

We are contemplating moving to 128 charater passwords on our V5R2
system....

Has anyone else ventured down this path?

If so.... any words of warning or tips would be greatly appreciated.
