Many of you may have met Sharon Swartworth, of the Army JAG, at previous Lotuspheres. Chief Swartworth was lost in the downing of an Army Blackhawk in Iraq on Friday. She would have been 44.
I met her several Lotuspheres ago, a tough, really funny and technically very astute advocate of the power of Notes and Domino to transform organizations and work, and very active in the use and application of Domino to DoD efforts. She could usually be found at Lotuspheres talking animatedly about JAG's latest Domino efforts, and it was an unwise move to try to either sharpshoot her or to drink her under the table... you'd lose on either point. She was definitely a force to be reckoned with and was looking forward to her retirement.
I've had her Pentagon address in my PDA all these years, and I'm sorry to say that I won't be needing it any longer. The Domino world has lost one of its most dedicated cheerleaders.
