Oliver: Simple depends on viewpoint. Off the top of my head, the CL is like: dclf QADSPOBJ dspobjd somelib/*ALL objtype(*ALL) + output(*OUTFILE) outfile(mylib/myfile) ovrdbf QADSPOBJ mylib/myfile Nxt_Obj: rcvf monmsg ( cpf0864 ) exec( return ) dspobjaut somelib/&objname objtype(&objtype) + output(*OUTFILE) outfile(mylib/myfile2) + outmbr(*FIRST *ADD) goto Nxt_Obj I'm not sure of the field names for &objname and &objtype, but a DSPFFD for QADSPOBJ should make them obvious. You might want to have an Exit to goto rather than simply returning from the monmsg; that would allow a DLTOVR in case this is run in an interactive job. You might want error handling, but I'm not sure if there're many errors you can handle meaningfully, perhaps tracking object locks or not authorized to objects. You could also have the library name passed in as a parm or retrieve it from a data area or data queue or... But that's pretty much the whole program, and you only create it once.
