RE: Record commitment and SVCPGM question

We had a similar problem here and some clever person discovered that if you
write the records to a logical file, the records written can be seen
immediately.  I don't know if that is still true, though.

What bothers me is that I can't see the records that are being written until
after the SVCPGM terminates.  Is this normal? I am not using any commitment
control that I am aware of.
