I don't think we have any more clients left on 3.7, but we have a system
running on it. It runs fine and we have so many other AS400s that we just
have not had the need to touch it. It never had software subscription on
it, so we just left it alone. We finally retired a V2R3 (E04) that we had
running. Basically we had everything off of it, but it was our first AS400
and we ran it more out of nostalgia. The box ran every day for 13 years
with only 4 hours of down time in the first year cause the single drive in
it crashed! Otherwise it just ran and ran. We needed to make some space in
the computer room, so we gave it to a local software developer here in ATL
that said they still had an old box and needed the parts.

Carl, I hafta ask. Do you support clients who are still at V3R7? If so, I
am surprised that they are still willing to pay for your (or anyone's)
services.

Or is that box in your museum display? <g>
