Thanks for info, Tom.  I didn't look into this as thoroughly as you did, and
only noticed the call to same SEPT.  Based on your performance info, my
current thinking is that it would be false to say that CL is interpreted,
and it would be false to say it is fully compiled in the sense that RPG is.

Don't have time today to look into it s'more...;-(
