No, up to me is not important since involve only the "CPI"
part. What can influence is *COR.
Anyway test it without the lpi=8 and see if it sense the
font. By the way 2403 is one of the residents (and
recognized) fonts even without the extra font package.
I tested my example on an HP1100 via client access with
MFRTYPMDL=*HP4 and it's fine with small point size
(9/12/15) and with large ones (60/90/120).
