here in indy, there's been an incredibly disturbing trend - the non-smoking
bowling alley (shudder).  bowling had always been a weeknight refuge to let
you smoke and drink beer in peace (if not quiet).  They've even quit
serving pitchers of beer!

It's just one step closer to communism!  ;)

My understanding is that it was the same guy that came up with
decaffeinated coffee, the meatless hamburger, artificial sugar, and other
such evils.

He has a lot to answer to, and I'd personally like five minutes alone in a
room with him.
