Basically you need the iSeries Netserver configured to be in the same workgroup or domain as the NT server and up and running. Step two is for the userid and password used for the OS/400 job to be valid and have access to the required share on the NT side. Then go havealooksee in /QNTC/(servername)/(sharename) and there it should be. You can copy files there with cpy or cpytostmf.

Have fun!

Has anyone mapped a NT server drive to the IFS? I have a need to place a
file on the NT box and would be nice just to write it to a mapped ifs
folder. If you have done this what are the steps to make this work
