If you are saying that you used their source code as a starting point for
your tools, then you are correct, you should not contribute those to the
iSeries Toolkit as that would likely be a violation of your license terms.

I agree and that still makes me nervous to submit free tools that are
already out there for a price.  Even though we do not have TAATOOLS (except
the many year old version) and never purchased it, I would still be scared
to submit a tool that they already have now.  People could be distributing
these free tools all over the place.  Maybe we could purchase TAATOOLS in
the future and then have to prove that we didn't use their source code as a
starting point.  There would be a date on the source but it still makes me
nervous.  I thought iSeries toolkit was the only one for free tools.  Any
other places for free tools you know of?  I think it makes sense though to
try to keep most tools in one place and add to them.  I guess I need to get
over my fears and start submitting tools and enhancement requests to the
iSeries toolkit.
