Subject
Create a missing table in SQL ?

I'm trying to check for the existence of a table, and do something
depending upon the result.

BEGIN ATOMIC
    DECLARE v_rc INT DEFAULT 0;
    SELECT COUNT(*) INTO v_rc
        FROM SYSCAT.TABLES
        WHERE TABNAME = 'NAMES' ;
    IF v_rc = 0 THEN
        CREATE TABLE NAMES........;
    ELSE
                   DROP TABEL NAMES;
        CREATE TABLE NAMES........;
    END IF;
END

Using the interactive SQL, it gives weird errors about end of statement
and such...

Anyone see what's wrong ?

Thanks,
