Using TEST never distinguished reliably between *DMY and *MDY (050799
could be May 7, 1999 or 5 July 1999), and now you can add *YMD to that
(010203, or even 030303, 040404 etc).  You can even get confusion with
*EUR and *USA: 05072003.
