Nuts. Our new password policy calls for mixed case passwords. Like Chris,
I've found that mixed case passwords are not accepted at Netserver
authentication. I don't know if it's a bug in Netserver authentication or
in the way Windows passes the password. Users all over the company are
disabling their iSeries support for Windows Network Neighborhood access as
they switch to mixed case domain passwords.

I was thinking I might go to password level 2. I'm expecting untold chaos
as dozens and dozens of users have to key their current password in upper
case.

Has anyone tried switching to password level 2?

-Jim

Didn't go that route. Still at level 0.

Rob-

Did you migrate to QPWDLVL=2, and was it a big deal?

I got tired of pounding my head into the wall. My iseries and windows
domain password match, including case.
