What is the command you are using?

Are you using the RST command? This is how you restore IFS files.

Restoring IFS from Save 21






I want to restore a directory in Root from a full system save (21) that I
have.  Looking at the DSPTAP it looks like the directories are objects but
what is the SAVLIB and OBJTYPE?

I can restore all of Root or the entire IFS if I have to since nothing 
else
has changed since the last save.
