What is the command you are using? Are you using the RST command? This is how you restore IFS files. Looking at the DSPTAP it looks like the directories are objects but what is the SAVLIB and OBJTYPE? I can restore all of Root or the entire IFS if I have to since nothing else has changed since the last save.
