Hi Dave Might be worth taking a look at Network Authentication Service (Kerberos), which uses Kerberos tickets to authenticate users instead of user ID's & Passwords. I think this was implemented in V5.2 on iSeries. This is configured in Ops Nav -> Security -> Network Authentication Service right click then configure. This starts the NAS configuration wizard. The iSeries cannot be a Kerberos server, but can partake in the realm, so you need a Kerberos server somewhere in your network. The help text within Ops Nav is quite good on this topic, also loads of information on Google (http://web.mit.edu/Kerberos/www is worth a look) plus the information centre. Personally, I've never used it, but hope this points you in the right direction.
