I've got to agree.  The people who purchase outright are often locked into 
obsolete hardware.  It's a lot easier to ask management for a $2/month 
increase in their lease for new hardware than to purchase a whole new 
machine outright after the other one is obsolete.

Does anyone even buy iSeries systems outright anymore?  I wonder what the
lease to purchase ratio is nowadays.
