Never use the calling cards from your room - they do charge for that. Some hotels even block all 800 numbers registered to calling card companies. I had a gas station pay phone which blocked both 800-call-att and whatever the number was for MCI. Have you heard of a cell phone? However I can see your modem concerns. Just make sure they also don't charge crazy amt's for local or 800 access also!! -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of G Armour Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2003 11:25 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion; floridainfo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: COMMON at Gaylord Palm, Orlando Leo, Last I heard, Midrange-L had over 900 subscribers. How many people do subscribers talk to that don't subscribe to the list? Thanks for giving us the heads up about Gaylord Palms. I hope COMMON takes note.
