RE: backup spool files

In addition, I believe it is recommended to use CTLCHAR(*FCFC) or (*PRTCTL). When you copy back from the physical file, OVRPRTF with CTLCHAR, so that your formatting is retained.

My memory may be weak here, someone please correct anything wrong.

I used to do this by having 1 physical file for each day, and holding each
spooled file that I wanted to backup in a separate member. I used to do this
and send the tapes off to a microfiche bureau.
