Enterprise Softtware

We have a current in-house/homegrown RPG system for managing our business
(Custom/Stock Precision Cutting Tool manufacturing, carbide inserts,
engineering using Pro/E & AutoCAD, direct ship & distributors, remote sales
force). 
We are looking at replacing it with an enterprise package, reasonably priced
and feature rich/customizable. 
I realize this may be a long thread, but I'm open to starting the
discussion, with recommendations, as well as what to avoid. Cost of course
will also be an issue.
