There is an option on the list options page to disable mail delivery. You can also choose to disable mail delivery globally.

Just visit the list options page at http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/options/midrange-l, enter your email address & password (there's an option to request a password reminder), and you'll see the option on the next page.
