Just did this last Friday. Sans the LPAR stuff. Took our 720 to an 810. Did
a GO SAVE Option 21 and a GO RESTORE Option 21. Had to go into DST and
delete some of the old hardware resources. Keep track of any modified IBM
Commands that you may have done. We did a swap, assigning the new box the
same IP address as the old one. Same system name as well. Just set up a
small lan to test the Domino and IP stuff. Pretty painless. Started a 6:00
AM and users were back on by 2:00 PM.
