Yes. We used the Sorcerer's Guide as the template for all our socket programs. Just remember that you will need to translate to ASCII you data before you send it to the PC. We did have to have a PC specialist create a DLL with winsock in it and that is registered on the PC. In our case we are supporting a webserver (IIS), and winsock had to run as a service. (I don't have to understand it, it just works ;-). Have fun with this. Cyndi B.
