Also....   what I use is one of the following combinations, depending on
what I want to do, and various other things:

AS/400  and RUNRMTCMD to run a PC-based Text Editor

AS/400 and an FTP Server to push and pull data files to and from the PC and
run a PC-Based text editor

AS/400 and my own PC Command Server to run PC Commands (such as opening a PC
Text Editor) from the AS/400. Here's a link to this particular utility
