Thanks Shannon,
However, there appears to be nothing of any value in any of the joblogs
under QUSRWRK

Just a thought....(and THANK you for giving the list a NEW TOPIC! to
talk
about.....)

but you might look in WRKACTJOB Subsystem(QUSRWRK) and display the job
logs of jobs running there.

We are using an application from ESRI called ARCMAP. Within a map we
have created, we have created a couple of custom buttons that execute
SQL statements in VB to plot points on the map. However, we have an
annoying problem, that often when the map is opened(without selecting
any of the buttons) user profiles on the out Iseries will be disabled.
The only thing i can find is in the QTCPIP job the message 'TCP/IP
connection to remote system xxx.xxx.x.xxx closed, reason code 2'

Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this or where else
to check. I know this is a stretch as ESRI doesn't seem to be real
popular in the ISeries Community. This is driving our users bonkers.
