It's weird that you have experienced so many problems.  I have 20+
customers with 30 or so machines, and have never experienced a hard lock
up that you describe.

We've had disk drive failures, but the smart customers had Raid and no
downtime.  One customer who had a 10 year old CISC box lost everything
one afternoon, but, they had a backup and we were right back where we
left off once we had the thing repaired.

BTW, Joe, I play Asteroids (and about 3000 other games) on my new Mame
