Vern, The logo is printed on every page. Your suggestion about IPDS sounds like a good one. I would ask though, could a HP4050 be made into an IPDS printer? The delay would be that it has to send that PAGSEG for each page. I don't know if it has to apply the PAGSEG as it reaches it, which would also explain the jerkiness. This is the problem with using Host Print Transform. The best answer is to use an actual IPDS printer and not use host print transform. Then the resource is sent once to the printer, which stores it and applies it to each page (if I understand this correctly). You could try a lower resolution. Isn't there a setting to delay printing until the spooled file is complete? This'd mean the time is taken on the 400, and the transmission to the printer would be in a big chunk. Maybe.
