Do these problems have anything to do with the C XOR commands? Had a small program here in C that used a series of XOR 's to the characters of a string to come up with a check digit. After upgrading from V5R1 to V5R2, the check digit started coming out the same value no matter what string that we passed to it. IBM is having trouble duplicating the problem on their R5V2 machine. Has anyone else had problems with the C XOR? -----Original Message----- From: Art Tostaine, Jr. [mailto:artjr@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, August 08, 2003 4:46 PM To: 'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion' Subject: PTF's not on web site? I have a customer who has been told by IBM to order the following PTF's for a problem he is having with the C Compiler. si08594 si08018 They aren't available on IPTF. He has been told he has to open an hourly support contract to be able to order PTF's over the phone. Has anyone heard of PTF's that are only available over the phone? He swears these are the right numbers. Any ideas on how to get them? Maybe my customer is wrong? (How could that be?) Art Tostaine, Jr. CCA, Inc. Jackson, NJ 08527
