That's probably it then. When you create the printer file, on your CRTPRTF
or OVRPRTF command specify DUPLEX(*YES). You can also do it on the CHGSPLFA
(option 2 from WRKSPLF) command.

The duplexer works fine from the mainframe and the pc network.  There is
something I don't have configured correctly on the iSeries. Maybe a prt
file
definition or something. I am still learning os/400.

We have a hp8100 network attached.  I created a devd that shows to support
duplex printing.  When I send a job to this printer it does not print
duplex.  Is there an option that I have overlooked for duplex printing?

Still new and learning the iSeries.
