Jim, I don't deal with long reports like yours, but we had some timeout problems that seemed to disappear when we changed from the *HPPJLDRV driver to the *IBMSNMPDRV driver. I suspect SNMP is a more robust protocol than PJL, though that's just a guess on my part.....
