I don't deal with long reports like yours, but we had some timeout problems
that seemed to disappear when we changed from the *HPPJLDRV driver to the
*IBMSNMPDRV driver.  I suspect SNMP is a more robust protocol than PJL,
though that's just a guess on my part.....

Have already done the IBM recommended settings for jet direct timers.
Jet Direct settings always fixed this before...
In a long report - 700 pages, happens multiple times, as if 
when buffer fills, when we take "R" it continues till buffer fills again.
