IBM has this sample database:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/info/sqlp/rbafymst384.htm#HDREMPLOYEEPHOTO

Pity they don't have a sample application that would actually update and
display information from it.

I've actually used a DATALINK. Has anyone used a BLOB, or the other
fields listed in the subject line?

Here is the application. We have a web application. We want to store a
PDF in a DB2 file field.

If we were to use a BLOB then how would our web application access that
data? I know that traditional RPG has no host type variable that would
support a blob, like
Select IDESC, myblobfield
  From IIM
  Into :wDesc, :wMyBlb
  Where...
Would be a real trip.

So, provided we had an application that would create this PDF, how would
we get it into DB2, and then how would our, (let's say Domino),
application retrieve the data from DB2 and display it?
