My current client has several Xerox Document Centre 432 printers attached

the corporate lan.  The system administrator spent several days trying to
get them to work as local printers on the iSeries, but so far has
determined
that is is not possible to use them with  iSeries printer device
descriptions, so he followed Xerox support's recommendations.  They are all
presently defined as remote output queue printers.
