This may have been along the guidelines of an earlier post but...

While I was on vacation a user (who must've just been hammering away a keys,
I don't know) reset the initial menu of a very importantn account to Main.

The account is a "shared" signon used for EDI-related tasks.

I know, everyone is supposed to have their own account, and they do, except
for this one function. It was what I inherited and is on my list of
to-dos-to-undo.

Anyway, the account has been around for awhile and I've never noted the
initial menu. Fortunately I remembered the testing account name of the
contract programmer that originally set all this up and was able to talk
someone through plugging it into the user profile.

Still, not the kind of call I'd like to get on vacation or at all. I think
users just whack away at keys when they don't know what they're doing.

What I would like to do is remove the menu option off the main screen. Any
advice on how to do this is needed and appreciated.

My other concern is how they got to menu Main in the first place. Someone
told me once about "recursive" logons which seems to match up with this
situation. If anyone can explain this (as well as how to nip it!) that would
be great!
