This particular folder has all rights for Everyone.  It's my generic
transfer folder (sort of like /pub).  It looks like adding a user to my
server with my AS/400 user profile name did the trick.  I'm still unsure
(and not willing to spend the time this minute to determine) whether the
user must have the same password on the W2K machine as on the AS/400.  I
sincerely hope not.
