Thank you to everyone who replies to my question..........The check(er) is working for me. Another question about this issue......is there an easy way that I can encrypt the charge card number to the file and un-encrypt it for viewing by certain people? Is there a command on the 400 or in TAATOOLS? TIA Jim Rubino Senior Business Systems Analyst FIKE CORPORATION 704 South 10th Street Blue Springs, Mo.? 64015 (816)?229-6216? An error message could be displayed showing the appropriate format. I would think it would be easier to use. I think you'll have to have this edit in any event since there are several ways to bypass CHECK(ER). Donald R.
