Until recently our VM was Intel OS2 Based. It just ran and ran. The new VM is now Intel Unix. We have had to re-boot a couple of times do to a bad com card logging too many errors. Techs new about it at installed but did not bother to fix it. The just disabled the port. Having a error like this should not keep logging every 10 seconds until the log file reaches max size. Also a log file reaching max size should not bring the application to a screeching halt. Nothing to do with the OS but the Application, IMHO.
