You can set an ODBC connection to the PF thru access and use a simple Access Insert Query to copy from the Access table the ODBC connected table. If you want all control from the 400 side, then you could set up a macro in access, create a shortcut to the macro and then have an AS400 job to a RUNRMTCMD to the PC invoking the Access Macro. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Doug Hart Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2003 4:49 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Migrating MS Access DB to AS/400 I need to import a 250,000 record MS Access DB to a DB2/400 DDS'ed PF. User wants to use standard Query to view the records. Any suggestions? _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
