VPN & Perle

Is anyone using Perle controllers on ethernet over a VPN?  We just switched
a branch from a BOS controller over the Internet to a VPN with a Perle 594T,
and they've been getting locked up ever since.

Naturally the VPN vendor says it's working fine and blames the Perle...  We
had no problems on the BOS, but that branch couldn't access our intranet,
hence the VPN.

Just curious if this has been working for others.  We have an Avaya VSU 2000
at the corporate site and an Avaya VSU 100 at the remote.  Most of the time,
the PCs stay connected.  Not all terminals drop, just one at a time.
