Paul, It wouldn't surprise me! Until recently (I've heard it's been fixed, but haven't verified it yet), all those good things like ODBC and FTP didn't know about languages either. Quite a challenge inputting your password to FTP on a French PC with a French keyboard when the password letters are not displayed, and having to guess where the letters would be if it was a US keyboard!! cheers, Clare Clare Holtham Director, Small Blue Ltd - Archiving for BPCS Web: www.smallblue.co.uk IBM Certified AS/400 Systems Professional E-Mail: Clare.Holtham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Mobile: +44 (0)7960 665958 ----- Original Message ----- From: "PaulMmn" <PaulMmn@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2003 5:11 AM Subject: Is ODBC -really- case sensitive? > Dear Group, > > We've bumped into an interesting situation-- ODBC seems to be case > sensitive when accessing files on our AS/400s.
