At the end of May, IBM announced new pSeries server models 615, which use
the Power4 Processors. See http://uk.news.yahoo.com/030528/221/e0ygh.html
for details. A base pSeries 615 with 1GB memory and a 36GB disk a 10/100
ethernet and a Gigabit Ethernet port lists at $5,740. A two-way pSeries 615
with 2-36GB drives and 8GB memory costs $15,600 with an AIX license.

Does anybody have an idea when we can expect to see comparable Power4
iSeries machines - say iSeries 815's?

Thanks,

Ray
