Ouch! Do you have a smaller box with the tools? The cost is much less on a P05. You could use various means (FTP, SAVRST, etc.) to get a copy of the source to that box, then transfer it back and create objects on the server. FTP scripts could do it all, I think, but would take some work to get going.

Have I missed something here? This severely limits our ability to interact with the platform via its own OS command language. Doesn't seem to bode well for attracting new customers to the iSeries as a 3^++ kicking server box.

Can any of you suggest alternatives?
