Peter, I have never gotten that error before, but you can loose window boarders on a 2nd and subsequent calls if the window in a called program which does not set on LR. I don't know if this is your situation or not, but if it is Wayne Madden published a fix a few years ago which is to code a record format in the DDS for the window program which has the following: Add another record format to the Window DDS A R CLRWDW A CLRL(*NO) A OVERLAY A FRCDTA Before exiting the RPG window program just insert: C WRITE CLRWDW C RETURN Hope this helps. Ron Hi Everyone, I have a customer on OS/400 V5R1 with CAExpress at V5R1 and the same scenario as APAR SA82866: --- APAR#:SA82866 Component:5769XE100 - CA/400 - TCP W95 Release(s):R440 --- Error Description THIS APAR WAS SYSROUTED FROM R320 SA81733. User application displays a border. When he exits the screen with the border and returns to it, the border is missing. The RSTDSP parameter on the DDS file is set to *NO. With RSTDSP *YES, other problems occur where previous screens with borders are left on the display even though the user only wishes to see on menu (with a border). --- It appears to be saying that the problem is in CAE 4.4. Why isn't this fixed in CAE 5.1? Peter Dow Dow Software Services, Inc. 909 793-9050 voice 909 793-4480 fax 909 522-3214 cell
