The difference between AS1 and AS2 is the protocol to move the data.  AS1 is
based on SMTP, AS2 is based on HTTP.

There is a data exchange protocol that's based on email. It's called AS1.
It's big brother is AS2. It uses the web.

My apologies but has anyone heard of anything like this?
The president of our company wants me to look into this but
I am having a hard time finding any documentation on it and believe he may
have the name wrong.
