At V5R1, this no longer appears to work.  In DCM there is an option in 
configuring the telnet application that does the same thing.

You should test what happens when you disable a certificate.  By default I 
could never get it to check that.  I was working on an exit point program, 
but the project was scrapped in favor of VPN (not by my choice since I 
only want people to access one service instead of my entire network...)
