They way we have implemented it is similar..... W2K box in the DMZ running
iSoft.  AS400 maps to the W2K server using QNTC file system and reads the
data off the directories where the AS2 software puts it.  For sending data
the reverse happens.  The AS400 writes to a directory in QNTC that is really
on the AS2 server in the DMZ.

This is the approach were currently looking at....

  A box in the dmz, running linux, and cleo lexicom (as/2)...  with a
firewall to the world... only opening up, the needed ports, and also running
ssh server, so we can do a secure ftp to and from this dmz box...

My question now centers around ssh,  I'm not sure it it too requires a
listening port, (similar to as/2) inside my firewall...  or will it work
like a normal ftp... So I will need to test that piece here pretty soon...
